Aqua Natal


As the water supports your body and helps to relieve the extra weight and pains that may occur with pregnancy, swimming has been shown to be a very effective type of exercise while pregnant 

Studies have also shown that swimming and exercise can increase stamina, which is beneficial during labour and delivering. This session includes warm-up and cool-down exercises and is an aqua natal exercise class led by a certified instructor 

Due to your body going through too many changes in your first trimester, we advise commencing Aqua natal lessons in the second trimester of your pregnancy, between 13 and 28 weeks and up to 40 weeks. Our classes meet for eight weeks at a time. 

In these sessions we aim to keep up a healthy level of fitness, enhance posture, relieve tension and build muscle 

 

Our Aqua Natal classes are available at the following times and are reserved in blocks of 8 weeks: 

  • Friday: 7:00pm-7:45pm
